“Sofia Green Ring” is a major project by Sofia Municipality that aims to transform 30 km of abandoned areas around the city centre into green spaces for walking, cycling, sports, culture and recreation.
The project begins with “Iztok” – a 3-kilometre route from Pioner Railway Station to Shipchenski Prohod Boulevard, which is planned to become a linear park with walking and cycling paths. The first changes are already underway, with the area being cleared, improved and opened up for public use.
J Point is contributing to the project by producing and installing informational materials. For the presentation of the “Iztok” section, we produced 16 vinyl panels. The panels present the route, the goals of the project and the plans to transform the abandoned areas into accessible green spaces.
